Extra guests, sofa beds and air mattresses

If your group slightly exceeds the capacity of the house, we do not charge for those extra guests: you are welcome to use the sofa beds or air mattresses you bring along. All we ask is that they also bring their own bedding: sheets, pillows, blankets and towels.

Extra guests are free of charge

Every house has a registered capacity, which is the number of people it is prepared and equipped for. We know groups arrange themselves as best they can in order to stay together, and that is perfectly fine with us: if some of your companions will sleep on a sofa bed or on an air mattress you bring, they are welcome and we do not charge anything extra for them.

What we do ask is that you keep it in mind while packing, so that nobody arrives expecting a made-up bed that does not exist.

The house is equipped for its registered capacity

Bedding and towels are provided only for the registered capacity of the property: bed linen in every bedroom, bath towels and pool towels per registered guest, hand towels in each bathroom and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom.

We do not keep spare sets at the houses, so we cannot lend or replace linen or towels for the additional guests. We also do not have air mattresses, folding cots or spare pillows available.

What we suggest bringing

For anyone sleeping on a sofa bed or on an air mattress:

Sheets, or a mattress cover and a duvet.
A pillow and a pillowcase.
A blanket, especially from November to February, when nights get cool.
A bath towel and a pool towel.
The air mattress and its pump, if you plan to use one.

With that, they are all set and enjoy the stay just as much as the rest of the group.

How many extra guests

We understand that sometimes, because of last-minute commitments, the group ends up a little larger than the capacity of the house. When that happens, the sensible margin is two to four additional people over the maximum capacity: that is absorbed comfortably and the stay stays pleasant for everyone.

Beyond that, things start to get complicated: hot water, bathrooms, dishware, the refrigerator and parking are all sized for the capacity of each property. If there are too many people, please consider renting an additional house. In no case can we host more than 14 people per house.

And a reminder: tents are not allowed in the garden. They damage the lawn badly and it takes a long time to recover.

We appreciate you letting us know how many people there will be in total when you confirm your booking, so we can plan for it and advise you better.

Not applicable at Allegra Suites

Allegra Suites is booked by the room and each room has its own bed and bathroom, in a hotel-style layout. Air mattresses are not allowed there: the rooms simply do not have space for them.

If you need more places, the easiest option is to add a room, subject to availability. We are glad to look into it with you.
